Sport Senza Frontiere onlus is pleased to announce the start of a collaboration with Vodafone Italy Foundation for Città dello Sport Senza Frontiere; the project is mainly developed within the sport centre and arena CUS Roma- Sapienza University (located in Viale Tor di Quinto).
"La Città dello Sport Senza Frontiere (Cities of SSF)" focuses on juvenile delinquency prevention and psychophysical inner balance, through integration, education and character development in which the practice of sports plays a key role.
It involves the integration of disadvantaged children and young people at risk of marginalization with Modern Pentathlon (swimming, running, fencing, shooting, horse-riding) provided by Athlion Roma; rugby, provided by Cus Roma Rugby; football provided by ASD COR 2005 and Outdoor activities by Argonauti.
Children and teenagers are identified by the Community of St. Egidio, the Social Services of the City of Rome and the Department of Child Psychiatry (Sapienza University).
Sport Senza Frontiere onlus is not just limited to provide children and teenagers a sport, but it also takes care of the students at various levels, thanks to a stuff of qualified sport trainers, cultural mediators, psychological and pedagogical workers, as well as paying attention to school progress and family relationships. Sport Senza Frontiere also offers
an exclusive shuttle service from the school to the sport centre and back.
